Coins Dedicated to the 600th Anniversary of the Battle of Grunwald Are Issued

       The Bank of Lithuania has issued 500 litas gold coin, 50 litas silver commemorative coin and 1 litas commemorative circulation coin to commemorate the 600th Anniversary of the Battle of Grunwald.
     The 500 litas coin is made from 999 standard gold, quality „proof“ (mirror surface, frosted relief), diameter 33,00 mm, weight 31,10 g. Mintage 5.000 coins. 
    

   

     The 50 litas coin is made from 925 standard silver, quality „proof“ (mirror surface, frosted relief), diameter 38,61 mm, weight 28,28 g. Mintage 10.000 coins.
    

   The 1 litas coin is made from copper and nickel alloy, diameter 22,30 mm, weight 6,25 g. Mintage 1 million coins. 
    

   The author of coins is Rytas Jonas Belevičius.
     Coins are minted in Lithuanian Mint.
     Coins are available at the cash office of the Bank of Lithuania in Vilnius (Totoriu Str. 2/8), and at the departments of the Bank of Lithuania in Kaunas (Maironio Str. 25) and Klaipeda (Naujoji Uosto Str. 16)
