Specifications: diameter - 23.00 mm, thickness - 2.10 mm, weight - 6.00 g.
Material: alloy of copper, zinc and nickel.
The edge of the coin is rimmed.

The obverse of the coin carries the image of the Coat of Arms - Vytis in the centre and the inscription LIETUVA under it. Below, a year of issue. The coin has a rim, the inner side of which is plain.

The reverse shows the number 50 in the centre and the inscription CENTU under it. The coin has a rim, the inner side of which is plain. Alongside the rim of the coin runs the ornamental "fir-tree" pattern divided into fourteen equal parts.

The designer of the coin is sculptor Antanas Zukauskas.

The image of the Coat of Arms - Vytis is adapted for the coin by artist Arvydas Kazdailis.

The coin was minted at the state enterprise Lithuanian Mint.
