Material: alloy of copper, zinc and tin.

The edge of the coin is plain.

The obverse of the coin carries the image of the Coat of Arms - Vytis in the centre and the inscription LIETUVA underneath. Below the image is the year of issue.

The reverse bears the numeral 50 at the top of the coin and the inscription CENTU below.

The designer of the coin is sculptor Petras Garska.

The coins were minted at the Birmingham Mint (Great Britain), the Mint of Lithuania.
