Specifications: diameter - 24.40 mm, thickness - 1.35 mm, weight - 1.49 g.
Material: aluminium.
The edge of the coin is plain.

The obverse of the coin carries an image of the Coat of Arms in the centre and the name of the state "Lietuva" under it. Below a year of issue is positioned symmetrically to the inscription "LIETUVA". The coin has the rim the inner side of which is plain.

The reverse shows the number "5" on the right side. To the left off the number "5" there is an ornament shaped in the form of weather-vane the central element of which is a leaf. On the top of the ornament a cross is placed. On the both sides off the leaf there are decorative elements - small snakes. Below, on the both sides off the leaf stalk there are two figures of angels blowing the trumpets. In the bottom part of the coin the word "CENTAI" is positioned symmetrically to the vertical axis of the coin. The coin has the rim, the inner side of which is plain.

The designer of the coin is sculptor Petras Garška.

The coin was minted at the state enterprise Lithuanian Mint.
